The argument should be 4-6 pages double-spaced size 12 font in Times New Roman. You
are to pick one of the reading from the class I.E. Descartes’ Meditations, Holbach’s The Illusion
of Free will. It can be from any section that we covered or will cover in the course. You will
then choose a position on the topic that is discussed in the philosopher’s paper. Your position
can be for, against or somewhere in between the paper you chose. Then the bulk of the paper
will be you giving me what you think are the flaws and strengths of the argument. Make sure
you give me some of your own thought with reasons backing it up to why you think the position
in the paper is great, good or just plane wrong. The paper topic leaves a great deal up to you
what you want to argue for. The paper should be 4-6 pages double spaced size 12 font in Times New Roman. You are to pick one of the reading from the class
Example: Descartes Meditations or Aquinas’ Cosmological argument
etc. It can be from any section that we covered in the class. You will then briefly
write on what the specific Philosophers position exactly is in their paper. What are they saying and what is their reasoning etc? Then the bulk of the paper

Lastly you will give me some of your own thought with reasons backing it up to why you think the position in the paper is great, good or just plane wrong. The paper topic leaves a great deal up to you on what you want to do.
Between the textbook, The Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy and the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy You should have plenty of Sources for your paper. Make sure you cite your sources whenever you paraphrase someone else or quote someone else.
