The whole essay title is : Schneider (2004) defined experiential travel as “travel that enriches the soul
while broadening the mind”. Travellers are nowadays choosing experiences
versus destination facilities and amenities.
How is experiential marketing in cultural and heritage tourism context being
used to differentiate destinations? Use examples from multiple destinations to
support your essay.
I was thinking of giving a brief explanation of experiential marketing and tourism and its main aims and characteristics (according to Pine and Gilmore (1999) and the four dimensions it has (entertainment, education, esthetics, escapism) and then analyse two examples and say how they make destinations differentiate from others
