This whole thing is based on the Martin Luther king’s letter here is a link to the letter https://docs.google.com/document/d/1AksJGrPBqZ5NUBb2rOuqyYC272NSrPJvL2jqafaxpis/edit
There are two questions the first question says
What is King’s purpose in this letter? What are his main points/arguments? Please
write at least 8-10 sentences.
Ive wrote this so far for this question
The purpose of Martin Luther King Jr. in writing this letter was to defend his methods
against Clergymen’s criticism. According to the letter it states “I pause to answer criticism
of my work and ideas”. This sentence at the beginning of the letter is significant because it
demonstrates the purpose of the letter. Martin Luther King Jr. wrote this letter to the
Clergyman who was criticizing his conduct in Birmingham, Alabama. MLK Jr.’s main points
in this letter are in response to the clergymen’s claim that demonstrations may be unlawful.
Also, Martin Luther King Jr. argues that negotiation does not work, as seen through his
examples. The letter, it summarizes MLK Jr!’s views on negotiations as “Negotiations must
be two-sided, with equal authority on both sides.”
